I wonder if  you are meant to have a camera bag that weighs more than your clothes, shoes and toiletries,  and all that junk,  perhaps I just am packing lightly in all departments except photogrpahy.

Pre Trip Jitters

Wll with less than 12 hour to go before heading to the airport for my first big trip in 10 months I am kind of anxious and nervous as well as extremely excited all at the same time, to actually be heading to East Timor is amazing, I am scared as I have heard so many horror stories of the place, the people and what to expect. These are ideas mostly formulated by people who believe every single item of news that is broadcast to them. I also believe that if people listened to the news and believed every single item on there they would be building bunkers in there basements and stockpiling rice and tuna as we are all about to go back to the dark ages. 

Long live the media and its unbiased approach to reporting the true issues of the world.

well I had better go and pack the last bit of gear, into my pack, rearrange my camera equipment and  try and see if I can get my clthing pack and supplies to weigh more than my camera equipment.
